STAY INFORMED

What a difference five years can make. Since first entering the war in Iraq, five years ago today, America has lost almost 4,000 lives and tens of thousands of soldiers have been injured.

Then, there’s our economy. There’s no question that the decision to go into – and stay in – Iraq has cost us. But just how much?

According to federal budget experts and economists, Minnesotans have already paid $12.5 billion for the war. To find our more about Minnesota’s investment, click HERE. The Bush Administration and its allies in Congress – like Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman – want to keep on investing more, without stopping to even consider the toll this continuous spending is having on our communities here at home.

Join Alliance for a Better Minnesota in signing a petition to U.S. Senator Norm Coleman – who voted last week against the budget that would have restored many of the cuts the Bush Administration made to fund this endless war.

Tell Coleman to stand up for working families here at home, instead of siding with his Buddy Bush in throwing money at an endless war.
